Description

Another side of Rochester author Sean P. Dwyer is revealed with his new adventure book, Sometimes They Smile, celebrating the release on August 2nd at Record Archive. Through summer tales away from college, he invites readers to follow his pursuit to return to Southern Colorado cowboy country, where ole Dr. Bob waits with a barn to be built and stories to tell. On the edge of the high plains and the beginning of the Rockies, Sometimes They Smile is, at the least, a literary documentation of Dwyer's time away from the norms and amenities of modern life. Meanwhile, it digs at life's mysteries of truth, from travel and building in the new world to questioning human nature and exploring romance, all in an attempt to keep balance during an age of distraction and complexity. Seeking to retreat from the globalized tech-world of the 21st century, Dwyer the sojourner is at it again with this book's detailed account of his return to Silver Spurs Ranch.

Author Biography:

I'm a young handyman, publisher, and author that resides in Rochester, New York. Between semesters studying psychology, therapeutic recreation, and wilderness education at SUNY Potsdam, I hitchhiked through many regions of the continental United States, including over 30 states and more than 100 nights on the road. In 2015, at the age of nineteen, I self-published my debut work: To Accept a Wooden Nickel: Perspectives of an American Hitchhiker. In 2018, along with the publishing of my 2nd book, Sometimes They Smile, I founded University & Goodman Press, a publishing company devoted to providing specifically tailored services to the individual needs of up-and-coming authors, young or old.
