Description

This interactive bedtime story is for all ages from an unborn baby's point of view to it's expectant parents or siblings. It is a fairytale that appeals to all ages. The photographs of clouds, offers the opportunity to revisit our childhood pastime of finding figures in the clouds. The title of the book was inspired by the quote " I'll remind him of his tardiness when he's a bit older." that was made by the Duke of Cambridge in reference to the overdue birth of his son Prince George. Coincidentally the photographs of the clouds and the illustrations seem to follow the timeline of Prince George. This book however is written in honour of all newborn babies who should be treated royally.

Author Biography:

Chapeau Claudette has worn many hats in her lifetime. She worked as a photographer and filmmaker whilst designing hats. Chapeau Claudette is an internationally known hat designer. SO SORRY I'M TARDY is the first of three books by Chapeau Claudette. All her books, feature clouds or the word 'cloud' in its current metamorphosis. The author and photographer opens our imagination and hearts to appreciate the beauty of the clouds as the meaning of the word "cloud," as keepers of our lives and memories, supersedes the eternal and free artistry of our skies, which are clouds. The photographs have been illustrated by Cassandra Postema, a graduate of Central St Martin's School of Art and New Generation award winner at London Fashion Week with over 10 years of experience as a fashion and print designer in London and Hong Kong. She has worked on special projects with Dolce Gabanna, Cacharel, Marithe Francois Girbaud, and sold many prints through agencies. Currently, her company, Emi & Eve, produces LUXURY accessories featuring recycled bullets and bomb casings which contribute to mine clearing and a safer future for Cambodians.
