Author Biography:

Born of theatrical parents, Nanette Newman trained at the Italia Conti School and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. An actress and also the author of several children's books, she is married to film director Bryan Forbes. They have two children and five grandchildren, and live in Wentworth, Surrey.
