Description

Small Changes, Big Results shows how most small and medium sector businesses can be producing a sustainably better result for the owner(s) in regards to profits, time involved and ease of running. Most business owners start a business because of their technical expertise but few have the knowledge necessary to grow the company to the next level. Such uncertainty can become debilitating and stressful. The information in this book provides actionable, valuable insights into business development processes that can be applied immediately. Multiple award winning Author Andrew Johnston is one of the most streetwise business development specialists globally and a popular presenter and trainer. His book encapsulates over 20 years of hands-on business development experience, blending into 3 major themes: 1. Improving the beliefs, identity and mindset that drives a business owner to success, 2. Where to focus to maximise every hour of time that is invested into working on the business 3. A toolbox of personal streetwise strategies guaranteed to fine tune a business's marketing, sales, profitability, team and systems. The approach of the book is focused and selective in choice of content and is quick, easy and fun to read. There is no attempt to overwhelm with theory and unnecessary sales hype and it provides a concise, practical guide that outlines proven ways to improve your business. Inherently international in its scope, the text includes numerous real world examples, taken from the authors own experience as a business coach and development strategist, as well as from the wider global business community. The reader will gain a new understanding of personal and business development processes and will want to keep the book handy as a valuable reference resource. This book will be helpful for the owner, manager, staff professional, or an employee in a company that provides professional development opportunities. Take the mystery out of business development by taking advantage of Johnston's years of experience teaching, coaching and cajoling clients to be more successful, by digesting this book and applying it step by step to yourself and your business. Then brace yourself for real world results.

Author Biography:

Andrew's official working life started out in 1986 when he took on a fitter/turner apprenticeship at the Carter Holt Harvey Paper Mill in Mataura, Southland, New Zealand. As a child he grew up on a sheep farm in the deep south of New Zealand. Like many farmers sons, he was heavily involved in helping with farm work from an early age, from mustering stock, shifting electric fences, shearing, lambing, hay and silage making, working the land for winter crops, or working in his fathers' workshop maintaining and repairing machinery. From this experience a strong work ethic was instilled in him and continues to this day. He has built several businesses from nothing and has revitalized others. With the knowledge and experience he had gained over many years, he was presented the idea and opportunity to become a business coach to teach others what he had learnt. He has now been a highly successful business coach with a global client list, since 2005. Coach, key-note speaker, presenter and global coach trainer, Andrew has a vast knowledge of practical streetwise business strategies that can transform a business. His area of passion is helping small to medium sized business owners. Coaching the owner one-on-one, mentoring individuals in a business or working with the team, Andrew's coaching methods and knowledge have changed the lives of hundreds of business owners, their families and their teams.
