Description

From Sacramento, California, to a small town in Illinois, with stops in between, SIX SCATTERED STORIES exposes a world of suspense, disillusionment, and family secrets. A young boy finds inspiration in his parents' dishonesty; a writer's first mystery brings a real murderer into her life; deals are made and broken. This collection of stories includes tales of the real and the unreal, all designed to engage and amuse.

Author Biography:

- Margaret Hamilton's career includes working as a technical writer during the challenging Dot Com era. She has attended classes at the Iowa University Writer's Workshop. Her fantasy, "The Return of Marcus Casteel," appeared in Vol. 3 of the New Fiction Magazine. Her flash fiction, "The Whisperer," was Today's New Flash piece. She received honorable mention in an Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine "Mysterious Photograph" contest. She is a member of the Mt. Diablo branch of the California Writers Club, and especially enjoys reading, movies, TV dramas, and writing. - Camille Minichino (aka Margaret Grace, Ada Madison, and Jean Flowers), is a retired physicist. When her first book, on nuclear waste management, didn't sell well, she turned to cozy mystery novels and has published 25 of them in 4 different series. She's also written many short stories and articles on the craft of writing. She teaches science at Golden Gate U. in SF and writing workshops around the Bay Area. Camille is past-president and board member of NorCal Mystery Writers of America, NorCal Sisters in Crime, and the California Writers Club. Contact her at www.minichino.com.
