An hilarious comedy about a gruelling endurance contest to win a car whoever keeps their hand on it the longest wins. Based on his own upcoming and internationally pre sold novel, SHOW OF HANDS is adapted and helmed by Anthony McCarten (Via Satellite and The English Harem) and cast is lead by Melanie Lynskey and Craig Hall. Lynskey plays Jess, a beleaguered meter maid who is impossibly nice and careful, and who is drawn for reasons she cant understand to fellow contestant Tom, (Hall) a failed businessman, who is outrageously self serving and irreverent. In the end, both have something vital to learn from each other if they are to survive in the ultimate Show of Hands contest life itself.
