When Mr Croc reads a detective story, he decides to be the next Sherlock Holmes! He is desperate to play the part of the great detective in the local play, but no one seems to recognise his talent. Then Mr Croc discovers that there is a real-life mystery to solve - a jewel thief is targeting the theatre. Mr Croc steps up and offers to solve the crime, but is he up to it?
Author Biography
Frank Rodgers is one of Scotland's best-loved author/illustrators. He has written and illustrated over sixty books for publishers such as Penguin, Scholastic, Hodder and Collins - from picture books and story books to non-fiction and novels. Mr Croc first appeared in A&C Black's Rockets series. His first outing in Chameleons was in Mr Croc Rocks!
