Sherlock Holmes in Terror by Night:
Holmes is hired by Lady Margaret Carstairs (Mary Forbes) to escort her and the diamond “The Star of Rhodesia” by train from London to Edinburgh. Believing the diamond will be stolen, Holmes, while in Lady Margaret's compartment, deftly switches the gem for a fake. Soon after, the fake diamond is stolen and Holmes has a murder on his hand. the master detective is forced to use all his powers of deduction as he comes face to face with Moriaty's second in command. Colonel Moran, and a suspiciously eccentric passenger list.

Sherlock Holmes in Dressed to Kill:
Sherlock Holmes investigates the murder of a music box collector and the theft of a seemingly worthless music box. Holmes soon discovers that the music box is part of a set of three that are mysteriously tied to the theft of duplicate give-pound printing plates from the Bank of England.
Holmes and Watson soon find themselves in a desperate race across London to acquire the remaining boxes. Hot on their trail is a trio of criminals who are equally determined. Holmes must not only secure the boxes and capture the plotters, but unravel the ultimate mystery of the case!
