Yeah I fell into the ‘king size must fit a king bed’ line of thought. Not the case with this one. The part to attach to the bed is at the very ends of the headboard (picture shows this I just didn't think about it) while the typical kiwi bed has its headboard attachers nearer to the middle. So have a good look first, if you can't attach a headboard by the very ends of your bed, this one isn't for you and you will have to DIY your own solution.
