Description

Segments - The Stories Behind the Poems is a collection of poems that are easy to read and are understandable. Also included are short stories for each poem so the reader can understand and relate to them. There are many feel-good stories and some very sad ones as well. But all in all, this is a feel-good book that you will enjoy now and for years to come. You will find yourself opening this book up many times to share the stories with your children, families, and friends. About the Author Throughout his entire life, author Charles Messina has always been optimistic about everything that happens. He believes you should read through both ends of a book before you determine whether or not it is a good book. He has been through a lot in his lifetime but still manages to walk around with a smile on his face. Although he has been through some tough times, one thing he believes in and usually preaches to others is that no matter how hard you think you have it, someone out there has it a lot worse than you. Charles is a very easygoing person, and he enjoys making others smile and feel good. He has never been the type of person who has asked for much of anything. If he has a fishing pole, a baseball bat, a roof over his head, clothes on his back, food on his table, and a healthy lifestyle, then he is happy. His favorite pastimes are fishing and baseball. He also loves kids and loves seeing them happy. If he can get everyone who reads this book to smile and feel good, then he has accomplished the main reason he wrote this.
