"Cute little tortoise"
3 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

It isn't my little one's favorite toy but it quite cute and realistic looking. Schleich did a nice job at fairly representing an average tortoise with this figurine. It's made of fairly durable plastic that also holds up in the bath (although this particular toy does not float).

Description

The largest animal in its habitat, the giant tortoise plays a role similar to the elephant's. In its rigorous search for food, it creates pathways that are used by other animals. Turtles can live in groups or on their own; but either way, these reptiles rest during the day after searching for food in the morning.
Fun Facts: The oldest recorded giant turtle died at the age of 176.
