R. Matthew Brach, PhD, PE, is an engineering consultant with Engineering Systems Inc. His principal areas of professional activities include vehicle impact analysis, vehicle dynamics, automotive crash reconstruction, and automotive safety. He has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
