Description

For much of our history, all architecture - not just religious monuments and buildings - created the physical context of the sacred. From the early astrological and mythical influences, which determined the location, form and function of early monuments, this book travels through history up to the present time, showing how the reflection of the images of earth and heaven in architecture has all but disappeared.
