These teaching trips and her other equestrian contacts have allowed her to observe how many horse-related businesses are run. In addition to her equestrian skills, Janet has professional expertise in the fields of accountancy and business management. In this book she has applied her managerial and financial skills to explain how a tack shop can operate as a sound commercial venture. Janet Macdonald's numerous books include the companion volume to this title, Running a Stables as a Business.
