Author Biography:

Steven James started in the amusement industry when he was 18. He is a Michigan native who was born the youngest of nine kids. Throughout his life he has enjoyed writing about his own personal journey while working at some of the worlds most respected companies, Including Cedar Fair, Marriott, Starwood and Disney. His first book Runawayland is set to chronicle the years he worked in the Amusement Park Industry as well as tell his personal story along the way. Even though he has long since left the industry, Steven still identifies himself as a Theme Park Nerd and enjoys following the latest advancements in the industry.
