Description

This is a mainstream cookbook with variety and style prepared by Peter Chaplin, a reputable chef of vegetarian cuisine, and Mary Cox, an expert in health and wellness therapies. Peter draws on a range of cooking styles influenced by his experience of Kiwi culture and lifestyle. This book contains over 80 straightforward recipes for healthy, wholesome food ideal for family meals. Readers will be enticed by food combinations that add a special twist and make Peter's recipes unique. With each recipe there is information about why a particular vegetable, herb, spice or fruit is good for you. A section 'Food for Thought' has interesting facts and gives short recipes for natural face and body products. 'Health Benefits' lists the known beneficial health properties of specific recipe ingredients. The recipes range from soups through mains, including fish, to desserts. Also included are quick snacks, bbq foods and a selection of juice recipes.
