About the Author Ms. SMck (Marie Smith-McKenze) was born in Macon, Georgia to parents who were actively involved in church. Her father was an African Methodist Episcopal Church minister. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Georgia. Her Master's Degree is in Management from Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida. Ms. SMck is currently completing her Doctoral of Management at the University of Phoenix online university and is an ordained and certified minister of the gospel. She is happily married with one son.
