Author Biography:

ANGELA BREW is Associate Professor in the Institute for Teaching and Learning at the University of Sydney, Australia. She has worked in academic development for over 25 years and has researched in teaching and learning in higher education and related fields in the UK and in Australia. A former President of the Higher Education Research and Development Society of Australasia (HERDSA), she is co-editor of the International Journal for Academic Development.
