This conference focused on the main challenges for sustainable development of small-scale fisheries, with the aim of encouraging political commitment to designing tailored strategies for the region. Conclusions stressed the need for action in support of sustainable small-scale fisheries in the Mediterranean and the Black Sea, as well as efforts to raise awareness and share knowledge.
