Description

On June 11, 2018, I, for the first time in my life, was homeless. On that day I entered my first homeless shelter. This writing consists of my reflections on light while I lived in various homeless shelters. One day I awoke to this light, a light whose nature had never before been seen. As I stepped towards this light, suddenly, I found myself drawn into it. Its NATURE swirled around me and then entered into me. Instantly, I was illumined by it and thus was, forevermore, spiritually transformed. This is a story of how I came to this light. What is light, its nature? More specifically, what is its spiritual nature, that light that seemingly resides behind the mind or perhaps is the mind and, we are told, lies within us all? About the Author: Christopher Alan Anderson (1950- ) received the basis of his education from the University of Science and Philosophy, Swannanoa, Waynesboro, Virginia. He resides in the transcendental/romantic tradition, that vein of spiritual creativity of the philosopher and poet. His quest has been to define and express an eternal romantic reality from which a man and a woman could together stand and create a living universe. Mr. Anderson began these writings in 1971. The first writings were published in 1985.
