Red Dead Redemption Game of the Year Edition (Classics) reviews

I'm very happy with this. It's a great game. It comes on 2 discs (Red Dead and Undead Nightmare) which is excellent, I can lend one to a friend if the need arises.

This is probably one of the best games on the 360, it has some very fun multiplayer (free roaming, missions, free dlc co-op missions etc).

Shipping was prompt and I got it on a good sale.

Couldn't be happier.

I hope you see what I did there, great game and all the extra add-on's included on the disk add infinite hours of extra entertainment, both online and single-player are superb and the extra's add to both.

Lets just sum it up as an awesome game with plenty to do so your not going to get bord

It plays like GTA except in 1911. The campaign is awesome and shooting zombies is a bonus. A must buy :)

Just got this game yesterday and, honestly, I would have already sat in front of my monitor for days if I don't have to go to work! Well, at least I got a job to pay off my game collections, which is good :) I am thankful :) As a player, I am always into sand-box/RPG type of game. If I can only choose one game for life, I would say Fallout series (1, 2 and 3). However, in my first 5 hours game time with Red Dead Redemption, I found lot of similarities between Fallout 3 and this Red Dead Redemption: they both have a virtual-realistic free world for you to explore, full of random missions apart from the main task, great voice acting, brilliant game play as well. I can't say too much about the storyline yet, as I am still at the stage of exploring the system and the world. But if you love Fallout 3, if you love Sleeping Dogs, this is the game you must have! Don't get me wrong, I love Sleeping Dogs, in fact, I just finish it and I truly love it. But this Red Dead Redemption is SOMETHING ELSE, it has the extra magic touch, lot of attention to the details: lighting, interaction between characters and even the horse riding system is interesting. Anyway, I implore you to have this game! You will not regret it!

Great game. Although riding shotgun on a horseback is fun…I'd rather take the beast through the vast wasteland known as AMERICA!

The game is great, and I love it. The real trouble was when Mighty Ape claimed that the game would arrive the following day after ordering it… Which it didn't. It arrived 2 days after ordering it, which is still really good. However, if it's not going arrive the following day, then don't say it will. Normally, it wouldn't be a big deal, but I was expecting it to deliver that day, so that I could play it – because I was looking forward to playing it. I was just disappointed to find that at the end of the day, it didn't ever get here at the said date. On top of that, the game is brand new, but the box is damaged in a way, preventing it from closing properly. The game itself, is fine, and this isn't an angry review for Mighty Ape's services, but I've had better (from both this website, and many others). I'm just saying that, overall, it could be better. Thanks in advance.

Not much difference between this and the Xbox One controller but the obvious plus is the D-pad and the fact it's backward compatible with the Xbox One

Best in depth game for value for money have played many times. Can't wait to number 2!

Excellent value for money, no complaints. Having the option of increasing the difficulty to Hardcore mode makes this a must have as cover is finally important and adds to the realism

I've been needing a replacement game since my last one was stolen. I love this game, it's awesome!

If you love action, you'll love this game, awesome graphics, good story line, based in the wild west so something different for a change, controls to ride horses realistically, must have game and get the game of the year edition as you get a zombie game with it, Mighty Ape has the best deals.

Rockstar never fail to amaze me with their awesome games! Red Dead Redemption is an excellent example of this! If you have played GTA and love it, then this is for you as it is a sandbox game set in America's Wild West. This is a must have game seeing as it comes with every DLC released!

Great game that already comes with loads of stuff to do. Putting the DLC in the midst makes this game another one that you will be putting a lot of time to finish everything.

This and GTA IV with all the DLC are great games and recommend to anyone :)

Honestly, get this game! Just like GTA but in a western. Graphics are amazing, gameplay is amazing, storyline is amazing (plus so much to do outside of the storyline) Do eeett!!

This game has to be second only to Skyrim. RDR is a great open-world game that is also very true to life back in the wild west. If you like Skyrim and maybe a bit of GTA then this game is a MUST.

Excellent game and story. This is a must have for any collection. What GTA did to carjacking this game has done to westerns.
