Author Biography:

Dr. Chasity K. Adams is a Licensed Psychologist, Health Service Provider, Life coach, Speaker, and Author. She is a member of the North Carolina Psychological Association, Mecklenburg Psychological Association, and Association for Contextual Behavior Science. Currently, Dr. Adams works in private practice as an independent practitioner and ACT therapist. She specializes in helping adults live as their Best Self by encouraging personal growth, habits of happiness, and emotional self-care. Dr. Adams received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois. During her graduate training, she focused on working with children, adolescents, and adults. She also worked in diverse settings such as in a juvenile detention center, psychiatric unit of a hospital, community mental health center, and high school.
