Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction (Platinum) previews

Classic platforming, amazing graphics, good story, sixaxis very well implemented.

I CAN NOT WAIT FOR THIS GAME IT IS ONE OF THE MANY PS3 GAMES THAT WILL BE GOOD LIKE SMACKDOWN.VS.RAW 2008(Which I also preorded) and Uncharted but dats gonna be R16 so that sucks but still I clocked all other Ratchet games and now am determined to clock this one!!!!!

Just downloaded the demo of this game and it is a masterpiece! I am going to buy it right now and you should too! you won’t regret it!

But this game is gonna rock. After the horrible Gladiator title, Insomniac have gone back to the roots of the series, coming up with a game thats a mix of Locked and Loaded and Up your Arsenal.

This game is gonna have it all: Graphics, Humour, Weapons, Gameplay, Replay value!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!! Oh yeah, and at least 16 planets, each one twice the size of planets in the PS2 games. Thats over 32 PS2 sized planets to explore!!!!!!!!!!­!!! Add to that the awesome Arena matches, the return of space combat, and all these other awesome gadgets (such as the gyrocycle and groovetron) man this is gonna rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, I think this game will be left in Mario's shadow come the end of November, which it doesn't deserve. I still don't know why this game has never instilled the same sense of hype as Halo and Mario have.

Oh well, for the few that get the game, it's gonna be huge!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!!!!

I've just downloaded the 1.6GB R&C demo from the US PS Store. This seems to be the most fun game I've played on the PS3 to date. Much much better than that Sonic The Hedgehog game that came out on the 360 (and later on the PS3) – Sonic had poor poor camera control – R&C is perfectly in line every time.

I can see this game becoming a guilty pleasure – always hide the game away when your friends come over (you don't want your mates to know that you own and enjoy a “kiddie” game, right?!), but wow what a way for a grownup to remain a kid at heart!

Visuals are bright, fun and fast. Reminds me a bit of Serious Sam 2 on pc. Look forward to playing more of this later. Looks to be a great game. Will be a definite must-buy.

A truly amazing game this is going to be. Enhanced graphics, slick gameplay, more weapons and gadgets than you can poke a stick at and an incredible storyline. Insomniac, you've outdone yourself!

After Downloading the Trailers from the makers website i was in Awe of the graphics in that, cant WAIT to get my hands on R&CF-ToD, I've all the previous Ratchet & Clank titles, and they ROCK!

Well Worth the Wait.

Talk about a great line up. In November Sony has Microsoft beat. Assassins Creed, This game, and Uncharted are all gonna be awesome. Couple that with Heavenly Sword and Warhawk in September, and you get a console with the greatest range of titles.

Lets see if Microsoft can stop pumping out nothing but FPS for a second and create a game as funny, vibrant and exciting as Ratchet and Clank.

I think not!

This game might not be as hyped up as Halo 3, but it'll definately be better, in every way possible!
