In actuality, it was a formidable weapon when employed properly and remained in operational use for the entirety of World War 2, achieving iconic status through its engagements at Dunkirk and the Battle of Britain. Aviation expert Andy Saunders addresses the misconceptions surrounding the Ju 87 with this fresh appraisal of its famous actions in the skies over France, the Channel and southern England. Author Biography:

Andy Saunders is an author, editor and former museum curator specialising in military aviation and history. He is currently the editor of the magazine Iron Cross, and author of more than 20 books on air warfare. His articles have appeared in Britain at War, Aeroplane Monthly, Aviation News, After the Battle, History of War and FlyPast. The illustrators for this title are Gareth Hector (cover and battlescene) and Jim Laurier (three-views cockpits, armament views, Engaging the Enemy artwork).
