Author Biography:

Kristie Byrum, Ph.D., APR, Fellow PRSA, is an associate professor of mass communications at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and international public relations scholar. Dr. Byrum has presented her research at the World Public Relations Forum and at a multitude of academic conferences in Europe, Canada, and China. A former entrepreneur, corporate executive, and communications agency owner, she brings real-world experience to her teaching and published works. She is an awarded-winning professor, accredited public relations professional, and honored member of the Public Relations Society of America's College of Fellows.
