This interdisciplinary volume addresses competing and conflicting configurations and narratives of spatialization in the context of globalization processes from the 19th century to the present.

Author Biography:

Gabriele Pisarz-Ramirez is Professor of American Studies and Minority Studies at Leipzig University. Hannes Warnecke-Berger is a Political Scientist and currently Senior Researcher in the Collaborative Research Center «Spatialization Processes under the Global Condition» at Leipzig University.
