No cops and robbers but this one is a page-turner. Essentially a medical legal novel, however, not being of either world in no way leaves the reader at a disadvantage. It reeks of authenticity: set in West Virginia, where the author was born, Mr Parsons certainly knows his stuff being a very experienced attorney with a substantial number of malpractice suits to his credit, and he moves the story along at speed never letting the reader to get bogged down with esoteric legal or medical jargon. His writing style is brisk and breezy and leaves the reader hoping to hear a lot more of attorney Jack Fabian in the future.
