Deborah Lock has been writing and editing children'snon-fiction, fiction and educational titles for more than 20 years. Sheis dedicated to developing products that engage and inspire children, instil a love of reading and lifelong learning, and share the Christian faith. She is a licensed lay minister at her local parish church, leadingworship and actively involved with children and youth work, and enjoyssinging, drama and dance (which comes in very useful when co-ordinatingthe children-led Nativity service each year). Helen Cann wanted to be an illustrator since she wasa small girl - now she is an award-winning illustratorwho has exhibited around the world and works out of a studio in seasideBrighton. Her work is mainly hand produced using watercolour, collage and graphite and has been used in picture books, anthologies and chapterbooks.
