Description

The Ranger Slayer, an alternate universe version of Kimberly Hart, has returned home and become the new ruler of her dimension - but can she fill the void left behind by Lord Drakkon or will she be destroyed by his legacy? RISE OF THE RANGER SLAYER The Ranger Slayer, an alternate universe version of Kimberly Hart, has returned to her home dimension to pick up the pieces left behind in the wake of Lord Drakkon’s reign. But Kim’s only option to save the people she loves is to become the thing she hates most - the new ruler of her world who sits on Drakkon’s throne. Now Kim must uncover the darkest secrets that Lord Drakkon left behind, starting with the secrets of his prison called Deadlock...and the shocking identity of the inmate known only as the Unknown Ranger. When Lord Drakkon’s final failsafe is tripped, an even deadlier threat sets its sights on Earth - and the Ranger Slayer won’t be able to defeat it on her own! Writers Ryan Parrott & Anthony Burch, along with artists Dan Mora & Simone Ragazzoni, present a bold new beginning for two of the most popular Power Rangers of all time - and set Kimberly Hart on a path you never expected. Collects Power Rangers: Ranger Slayer #1 and Power Rangers: Drakkon New Dawn #1-3.

Author Biography:

Ryan Parrott was born in Bakersfield, California, but spent the majority of his youth growing up in Las Vegas. Unlike many modern filmmakers, Ryan didn't immediately gravitate towards the medium, enrolling instead in the art program at the University of Nevada, Reno. But after being exposed to an abundance of new digital formats, he soon discovered that all his art projects shared a similar theme: Film. Transferring to Chapman University in the fall of 2000, Ryan hoped to make an immediate impact within the intimate film studies program. His first project, Ride, was the recipient of numerous awards and screened in over a dozen film festivals around the world, including the 2005 Cannes International Film Festival. His success didn't diminish as he wrote and collaborated on How to Cover-up the Death of your Best Friend, which received the award for best undergraduate film and culminated in producing and co-writing the short horror film, Husk, an official selection of the 2005 Sundance Film Festival. Upon graduation, Ryan directed his first feature film, Loaded, a low-budget independent action drama for Bulletproof Productions. After a short theatrical release, the film was distributed worldwide by Westlake Entertainment.  Dan Mora is an artist whose work includes Buffyverse comics from Boom! Studios.
