I've had trouble with painting in the past, I cosplay characters from borderlands and other games, and I've found that vivids and other marker lines can turn blue after drawn on a waterproofed or smooth surfaces, which can be troublesome. This paint marker really helps me to just draw-in lines rather than having to use five layers of vivid or worrying about trying to get clean lines with a brush and paint.
Clean, easy to use, very helpful and sturdy, this paint marker is one of my new essentials in crafting goods.
(As a note, I was confused about how to work it at first and discovered that you have to shake the pen then push the nib back into the body of the pen and then paint will soak all through the nib so you can use it effectively! Just in case anyone had the same problem I did.)
POSCA Medium Circle – Black
Uni Posca paint markers use vivid, opaque ink that can write on virtually any surface, including paper, photos, glass, wood, plastic, and metal. The paint ink can be scraped off from nonporous surfaces like glass but adheres permanently to porous surfaces like paper. It shows up well on both light and dark surfaces, and once dry you can write over it with another Posca marker without smearing or showing through. The ink is water-based, non-toxic, lightfast, and waterproof.
To start using the marker, shake it with the cap on so that the ball inside rattles. Then uncap the pen, place the tip on a piece of scratch paper, and press down so that the tip is pushed back into the body of the pen. Press the tip down several times until the ink begins to flow.
This pen has a medium/circle tip, which produces a line about 1.8 – 2.5 mm wide.
