It covers from the market place overlooking Taff Street to William Edwards' famous Old Bridge, heavy industry (the Brown Lenox chainworks), Glamorganshire Canal and Taff Vale Railway.

Author Biography:

Dean Powell is a keen local historian, and journalist for the Pontypridd Observer, who has lived in the area for many years. His other Tempus publications include Musical Rhondda, Treorchy Male Choir, Llantrisant and Llantrisant Revisited.
