Description

I'm so pleased I'm not a glowworm with an ever shining light, it would make it very difficult to sleep at night. There's the nose-picking rabbit and the flower-loving mouse. There's the sad skunk, and there's the kindly polar bear who helps out the penguin.Silly? Yes, but fun. Do you have a sense of the ridiculous? Good.Inside you will find poems and stories for the very young, the young and the young at heart. One is never too old to have a giggle.I do and I'm 90!So open up and enjoy.

Author Biography

Heather Ellis was born in Malta in 1926, in a house supposedly haunted by a knight in armour - a friendly but annoying chap, as he made an awful lot of noise when he clanked up the stairs. Her family moved to England and she grew up mostly in boarding school. She won prizes for art and eventually, in the 80s, she had an art exhibition in Malta. She inherited her love of poetry from her paternal grandmother, who wrote poetry for The Times of India. She now lives in Jersey, Channel Islands. At ninety, she has plenty more poems to come.
