Pocher 1:8 Lotus 72D – 1972 British GP – Emerson Fittipaldi
Presenting one of the most beautiful and iconic Formula One racing car of the 1970s, recreated in 1:8 scale car model kit by Pocher.
The magical combination between Brazillan wonder kid Emerson Fittipaldi and designer Colin Champman, introduced one of the most successful cars in Formula 1. During 1970 to 1975, the Lotus 72D went on to win 20 races over six different seasons.
Its distinctive wedge-like design possessed advanced aerodynamics which was years ahead of its rivals. With a legendary Ford Cosworth DFV 3.0 V8 engine and the car's slipstreamed design, the Lotus 72D could produce higher top speeds while also creating more downforce for higher cornering speeds.
