Author Biography:

A senior project management consultant, instructor, and author with over three decades of project management and senior leadership experience. Belinda is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP), Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) and Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) and was the first woman to achieve all five of the PMI credentials. Her project portfolio includes international, multi-million dollar projects spanning the financial, government, engineering, healthcare, and IT industries. Belinda has provided consultation to multiple Fortune 500 companies on the establishment of PMOs and the value proposition of project management within their organizations, enabling them to accelerate the achievement of their strategic goals while improving their financial health. Leveraging her extensive project experience and knowledge of adult-learning theory concepts, Belinda has authored multiple project management courses for both instructor-led and online classes, as well as developed a full line of certification preparation materials, utilized by companies and PMI chapters worldwide. A sought-after speaker, Belinda travels extensively presenting at PMI chapter events and private business, civic, and government functions. More than 2,000 project managers have participated in her PMP certification prep classes and her passion for project management and for the development of skilled project managers is evident in her instructional capabilities. Belinda was able to marry her two passions, Project Management and Learning, when she started her company: Passionate Project Management (PPM).
