This volume includes all Olivia Diamond's collected poetry since 2001. Her poems cover world events in the first decade of the 21st century mixed with humorous takes on daily life and nature. Her themes turn to the criminal mind and to literary figures. The first three sections entitled Settings, Characters, and Motifs contain her most recent poetry. Her two previous thematic works, Novenas for Grandmother and Playground, comprise the last two sections of this collection. As the title invites, the reader trespasses into the territory of the poet's consciousness and is rewarded there with sightings of moose, a great gray owl, and a bear among many other phenomena.
