“Please teacher” is quite ok in my opinion (well, that is the judgment made from the first DVD anyway.)

Packaging:

The overall packaging of the R4 version of “Please teacher” is quite impressive. The box is pretty well crafted. The T-shirt is quite cool as well.

Story/Characters:

“Please teacher” will probably fall into the romance-comedy genre. The storyline is quite weak in my opinion (it is a bit over done and a bit repetitive), but it does have some enjoyable scenes. The show is made up of a large proportion of “fan-services” though. The character designs are also quite appealing/cute.

Music/Sound:

The English and the Japanese dubbings are both ok. They are both quite average, though the Japanese dubbing is of course a bit better than the English. The music is the most impressive element of the series. “I've” did a fantastic job in creating the BGM. The opening theme “Shooting Star” is really catchy. The OST is recommended.

Extras:

I quite enjoy the “extras” on this DVD, especially the “Promotion Clip”. (10 minutes of cel based drawings and great “I've” music.) :)

Overall, “Please Teacher” is not a bad show at all. It may not be “everyone's cup of coffee”, but it is definitely a series that most of the “Otaku” will enjoy.
