I've been unable to calibrate this joystick properly with either the vendors software or the windows config tool. Complete waste of money.

I wanted a cheap joystick to be able to use on some older PC titles that I own that are not compatible with my current Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS setup, and seeing this one on “Sale” I decided to give it a go. The first one delivered, was faulty and windows couldn't detect it on plugging it in, but Mighty Ape were quick to acknowledge the fault and set a replacement with no questions asked which was appreciated.

This second stick worked as it should on plugging into the USB port and was good to go.

However, the problem is that even on “Sale” this joystick is WAY over priced, and any anything over $40 is a a total rip off! It's made of cheap, light-weight plastic and just has no feeling of any kind of quality whatsoever that I'd expect to have with something that normal retails at over $70. The final issue is the Throttle slider that is just far too stiff to be of any practical use and was an issue that I noted on both sticks so wasn't just a one off.

In short, it does what it was designed to do, but won't last long at all, and is most definitely overpriced. I personally wouldn't recommend it… Even on “Sale”.

Amazing for X plane and those other flight simulators. I tried it for Minecraft, and assigned the buttons so I played with a joystick! Good joystick, if on special I would get it if I were you! :D
