The Pilot Dr Grip pens are lovely to use: they write very smoothly and the grip is awesome. IÂ bought some for my Dad as he has arthritis in his hands and finds them very comfortable to use. Wish Mighty Ape sold the refills as well, although not a big deal as they last a long time anyway.
This is a very comfortable and practical pen which suits me very well. IÂ find my fingers skid downwards with pens that taper towards the tip . This design prevents that from happening.
I suffered an RSI injury to my right hand when I was younger which makes trying to write for any length of time with a skinny barrelled pen a painful nightmare. This Pilot Dr Grip pen is not like that and it's an absolute joy to use. It's easy for me to hold and I can write with it for as long as I wish without suffering any pain or cramping in my fingers.
The Pilot Dr Grip Advance has an optimum weight distribution, a wide, contoured barrel and rubberised grip making it the pen for serious writers.
