Author Biography:

Ivor Agyeman-Duah is the founder of the public organization, Centre for Intellectual Renewal in Ghana. He is the author and editor of several books including An Economic History of Ghana, Bu Me Be: Proverbs of the Akans, which he edited with the late Peggy Appiah and her son Kwame Anthony Appiah and Pilgrims of the Night. Born in 1966 in Kumasi, he was holds MA from the University of Wales and an MSc in Economic Development from The School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. He is the winner of several international awards including 'The Distinguished Friend of Oxford 2012' at Oxford University.
