The book can also be used for professional training programs targeted at the petroleum and crude oil industry.

Author Biography:

Dr. Atul Goyal completed his master’s degree from Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, in 2008, M.Tech. from KSOU, Mysore, in 2011, and B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from Punjab Technical University (PTU) in 2005. He started his career as a chemistry lecturer in KV-1 Bathinda and later as a lecturer at Guru Gobind Singh College of Engineering & Technology (affiliated to PTU), in 2007. He was promoted to head of department of Petroleum Engineering in June 2014 in GGSCET, India. His publication history includes books and papers in journals of national and international repute. He is a life member of ISTE, member of Board of Studies of Petroleum Engineering, , academic coordinator, training and placement officer, and an active member of discipline committee.  Dr. Nishna Bijesh completed his postgraduate degree in M.Sc. Applied Chemistry from Mahatma Gandhi University, India, from 2004-06 and B.Sc. Petrochemicals from 2001-04.  He has contributed to journals of national and international repute. He is currently an Assistant Professor at Guru Kashi University in Petroleum Engineering Department. His research interests include chemistry, petroleum chemistry, petroleum refining, natural gas engineering, drilling, purification, and others.
