Description

It's Peter Rabbit's first day at school! Peter is excited to be going to forest school with Benjamin Bunny, they can't wait to learn all about the woodland they live in. But when he learns that his sisters won't be there, the little bunny gets nervous. Luckily Mrs. Rabbit is there to reassure him and hold his paw on the first day. With new, humorous illustrations of Beatrix Potter's well-loved characters, this reassuring tale mirrors young children's early experiences. This book is a perfect gift for children to prepare for their first days at school or nursery.

Author Biography:

Beatrix Potter is one of the world's best-loved children's authors of all time. From her first book, The Tale of Peter Rabbit (1902) she went on to create a series of stories based around animal characters including Mrs Tiggy-winkle, Mr Jeremy Fisher and Tom Kitten. Her humorous, lively tales and beautiful illustrations have become a natural part of childhood. A source of inspiration was the Lake District where she lived for the last thirty years of her life as a farmer and conservationist.
