Alisha Gaddis is a red-haired, feisty empath. She has won multiple Grammy and Emmy awards and has published numerous books on a plethora of topics ranging from weaning and acting to stepparenting and periods. She has acted in and written for many television shows, movies, and live productions. She delights in her extreme multi-hyphenated “job title.” She and her little family split their time between Los Angeles, Shanghai, and Paris. Steph Garcia is a writer originally from New Jersey, Her storytelling podcast, That's My Story, Period, has been featured on Vulture, AV Club, Splitsider, and WhoHaHa. She is an alum of TV writing fellowships for both the National Hispanic Media Coalition and Disney General Entertainment and has written for various television programs. She has learned to love her period for all it is and was and hopes this book will help other bleeders do the same. As a longtime menstruator, Desireé is thrilled to have her illustrations published for the first time in this book. Desireé is also a writer, animator, and independent filmmaker. She has written and directed three short films: Dumped (an Official Selection of the 2017 Woman Texas Film Festival), Sort of Friends, and Brain on Drugs (an Official Selection of the 2019 Bad Film Festival.) Desireé is from Corpus Christi, TX and now lives in Los Angeles, CA with her hopes and dreams.
