About the Author...Anna Franklin Anna Franklin is a ten-year-old budding author and illustrator, using the gifts God has given her to create these adorable value based fictional character books. A friend who loved penguins used Anna for a thesis study. She surprised him by writing and illustrating a wonderful little book about Pentelope Penguin for his thesis. She so enjoyed writing! Soon, Pentelope stories just began to pop out like popcorn. Now she has developed her own little children's series that is sure to capture the heart of young readers everywhere. Anna is an honor student and pre-school Sunday School teacher. She loves to go into her little nephew's kindergarten class to read and help with projects. Being an avid ballet dancer, Anna stays busy with several hours of dance weekly and performing with her teacher's lyrical worship and musical theatre team. She developed her own Christian Dance Club in 2008. She choreographs dances, then teaches the dances to the girls who have a heart to use their ballet for ministry. She also enjoys singing, horses, art, and her toy poodle, Prissy. She becomes PENTELOPE PENGUIN, complete with costume, when she goes out to read or talk about her books at libraries and bookstores.
