About the Author:
Andrea Beaty is the author of" Doctor Ted"; “Firefighter Ted”; “Hush, Baby
Ghostling”;" When Giants Come to Play"; and “Iggy Peck, Architect”. As a
kid, she spent her days being a detective, world explorer, movie star, and spy.
Now, as a children's author, she spends her days pretty much the same way! She
lives in the Chicago area.
David Roberts is an avid climber and the author of more than twenty books,
including The Mountain of My Fear, which was named on National Geographic
Adventure's list of the 100 Greatest Adventure Books of All Time. His articles
have appeared in National Geographic Adventure, Men's Journal, and Smithsonian,
among other publications. He lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
