Description

Pastries are simple fares made basically with flour, butter and water. The first pastry was made in Egypt and its first form was a combination of flour and water which was folded around meat. From Egypt, it spread to other parts of Europe and got its name from France. Pastries gained more popularity during the medieval times and as the years went by the recipes developed and grew more diverse.
