Description

A highly contagious virus with a one hundred percent mortality rate has been unleashed on the world. Officials have traced the virus to pangolins sold in the black markets of Asia and Africa. These officials are clueless, however, to the fact that the virus isn't completely of natural origin. No, the deadly component of this contagion was engineered by a rogue human reincarnation of the ancient Norse gods. This means that Ditch and his band of vessels are the only people on the planet with a chance to find an antivirus. If only it were that simple. On the very day that people showing symptoms of the pangovirus began overwhelming hospitals all over the world, Ditch was accidentally whisked away to an Earth in a parallel universe. He was replaced by an unsuspecting doppelgänger from the alternate Earth. To make matters worse, this Ditch had absolutely zero experience in dealing with the otherworldly problems Ditch's crew dealt with on a daily basis-even though he was the reincarnation of Odin in his universe.Ditch's crew is suddenly faced with a three-pronged challenge. If they can somehow find a way to bring him back from this parallel world, then his band of vessels can concentrate on squelching the spreading pandemic and squashing the evil adversary responsible for unleashing it on the world.
