Genaro J. Pérez holds a B. A. in English and Spanish from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, and an M.A. and Ph.D. from Tulane University. He is Professor of Hispanic Literature at Texas Tech University. His primary scholarly interest is Twentieth and Twenty-First Centuries Spanish and Latin American literature as well as Chicano literature. His narrative includes: The Memoirs of John Conde and French Quarter Tales. He is Co-Editor and Co-Publisher of Monographic Review/Revista monográfica (Volumes I-XXVIII); and is Co-Editor of the journal Dura.
