This was an emergency purchase during a soup making binge – my old $10 blender did a reverse lightsabre impression (glowed in the handle not the blade) and died quite spectacularly. Mighty Ape had this replacement in my hands the next day. It is gruntier and smoothies up a chunky vege soup with ease. The blade attachmen is easy to remove for cleaning. It comes with some other attachments which I haven't had to use yet. My only minor issue was that the listing on Mighty Ape was a little short on detail and I had to detail to get the full specs to confirm this model would work for me…handy details like engine power etc…
