Description

Showing how to create murals on walls, ceilings, doors, shutters and screens, this book deals with the practical aspects, including basic materials and equipment, preparing the surface, choosing a design, and transferring the design to the wall. It follows with eight projects, illustrated on a step-by-step basis, from design to completion. For the keen amateur there are many ideas for less ambitious projects, and there are others which are more complicated and use special painting techniques. The book also contains examples of the work of celebrated muralists, to provide ideas and inspiration.
