Chord succession is always unexpected. They are based on the Pageant Verses of Thomas More (1478-1535): I-Childhood, II-Manhood, III-Venus and Cupide, IV-Age, V-Death, VI-Fame, VII-Time, VIII-Eternity, IX-The Poet. === Paolo Zoccarato is Professor of Choral Music at the Adria Conservatory of Music.
